Switching Roam Tracker Between Android & iOS
Roam uses a dual-system chipset, so you can reset the tracker and move it between Apple Find My and Google Find My Device (Find Hub) anytime.
From Android → iOS (Apple Find My)

Remove from Android

Open the Find Hub app.

Tap your item → Device details → Remove from Find Hub → Confirm.

The tracker will beep and automatically enter pairing mode.
⚠️ If you removed it while out of range, do a factory reset instead:

Press the button 4 times.

After the short beep, press and hold for 8 seconds until you hear 6 short beeps + 1 long beep.

Pair with iOS

Open the Find My app → Items → + Add Other Item.

Hold the Roam tracker close to your iPhone.

Select it, give it a name, and finish setup.

From iOS (Apple Find My) → Android (Google Find Hub)

Remove from iOS
-
Open the Find My app.

Tap Items → Select your tracker → Remove Item → Confirm.

The tracker will beep and enter pairing mode.

Pair with Android

Make sure Bluetooth and Location are ON.

Hold the Roam tracker near your phone.

A popup will appear in the Find Hub app → Tap Connect.

If the popup doesn’t appear, restart your phone, press the tracker button once (to re-enter pairing mode), and try again.

⚠️ Important for Changing Users
If you are giving your Roam tracker to someone else, please make sure to:

Delete your QR code details from app.roamsmarttracker.com, or
-
Edit the QR code information with the new user’s details.
This ensures that Lost & Found messages go to the correct person.
