The beeping isn't a fault — it's part of the built-in safety system from Apple and Google, designed to prevent misuse (for example, someone secretly placing a tracker on another person).
It can sometimes trigger during normal use when:
Your phone goes out of Bluetooth range, or Bluetooth is briefly turned off.
The tracker is moving without being near its paired phone (the system assumes it may be "following" someone).
Small vibrations or movement (e.g. in a bag) occur after the tracker has been idle for a while.
⚠️ Note: This feature cannot be disabled — it's controlled by Apple and Google. The good news: it does not affect tracking or normal use. It's simply the safety alert system working as intended.
