Switching Roam Tracker Between Android & iOS
Switching Between Android and iOS
Roam uses a dual-system chipset, so you can reset the tracker and move it between Apple Find My and Google Find Hub at any time.
⚠️ If you've removed the tracker while out of range (or if pairing doesn't start automatically), do a factory reset before pairing to the new device:
- Press the button 4 times.
- After the short beep, press and hold for 8 seconds.
- 🔊 1 short beep after the 2nd press, then 6 beeps after the long press.
From Android to iOS
1. Remove from Find Hub
- Open the Find Hub app.
- Tap your item → Device details → Remove from Find Hub → Confirm.
- 🔊 The tracker will beep and automatically enter pairing mode.
2. Pair with Find My
- Open the Find My app → Items → + Add Other Item.
- Hold the Roam tracker close to your iPhone.
- Press and hold the button for 5 seconds.
- 🔊 The tracker will beep and enter pairing mode.
- Select it in the app, give it a name, and finish setup.

Changing Owners
If you're giving your Roam tracker to someone else, make sure to update the QR code so Lost & Found messages reach the right person:
- Delete your QR code details at app.roamsmarttracker.com, or
- Edit the QR code with the new owner's details.
