Switching Between Android and iOS

Roam uses a dual-system chipset, so you can reset the tracker and move it between Apple Find My and Google Find Hub at any time.

⚠️ If you've removed the tracker while out of range (or if pairing doesn't start automatically), do a factory reset before pairing to the new device:

  • Press the button 4 times.
  • After the short beep, press and hold for 8 seconds.
  • 🔊 1 short beep after the 2nd press, then 6 beeps after the long press.

From Android to iOS

1. Remove from Find Hub

  1. Open the Find Hub app.
  2. Tap your item → Device detailsRemove from Find HubConfirm.
  3. 🔊 The tracker will beep and automatically enter pairing mode.

2. Pair with Find My

  1. Open the Find My app → Items+ Add Other Item.
  2. Hold the Roam tracker close to your iPhone.
  3. Press and hold the button for 5 seconds.
  4. 🔊 The tracker will beep and enter pairing mode.
  5. Select it in the app, give it a name, and finish setup.
