Getting started with Roam smart tracker

Basic Features
Roam works with Apple’s Find My or Google's Find Hub network. The network provides an easy, secure way to locate your personal items from hundreds of millions of devices from around the world. If a personal item connected to a Roam ever goes missing, use the Find My or Find Hub app to locate it on a map and play a sound if the item is nearby.

Google Find Hub app (Android™device)
1. Turn on the Roam

- Press and hold your Roam for 5 seconds, it will beep and turn on.
2. Add the Roam

- Place your Roam next to your Android device.
- Wait for the pop-up to show Roam Smart Finder, tap Connect and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the pairing.
- Select Roam. After naming and setting the category, you can locate your Roam in the Find Hub
3. Setup Lost & Find QR code

- Scan the QR code on the back of your device and follow onscreen instructions to setup your Lost & Found QR code.
Find the Roam

- Select the Roam you want to find and tap play sound, your Roam will emit a buzzing sound.
- You can view and navigate the location of Roam through the system's built-in map app.
Enable lost mode

- Select your paired Roam in the Find Hub app and tap Mark as Lost.
- Follow the prompts to add your contact information.
- Then, activate your Lost and Found QR code at app.roamsmarttracker.com/signin
The option becomes available only when the Roam is not near your paired Android device. when the Roam is in Lost Mode, you’ll get a notification when it's detected in Find Hub network' network.
lf you find a lost Roam, you can use your Android device to help return it to its owner. Turn on Bluetooth on your Android device and open Find Hub app to scan the lost Roam. The app will detect the lost Roam and display the owner's contact information.
Remove your Roam

- Open the Find Hub app, tap your item, then tap Device details () .
- Tap Remove from Find Hub and then tap Remove to complete the operation.
After removing your Roam from the Find Hub app, it will beep and automatically enter pairing mode (it will not power off). If you don’t re-pair within 10 minutes, Roam will exit pairing mode and enter standby mode, making it undiscoverable.
To re-enter pairing mode: Press the device button once. Roam will beep, indicating it’s back in pairing mode and ready to connect.
Pairing with iOS Device
1. Turn on the Roam

Press and hold the Roam for 5 seconds, it will beep and turn on.

2. Add the Roam

- Place the Roam next to your iOS device.
- Open the Find My app on your iOS device, tap “+” and “Add Other Item ⊕”
- Type a name for your device, select an emoji.
- Tap Agree to acknowledge that this item will be linked to your Apple ID.
- After setup, you can locate your Roam in the Find My app on your iOS device.
3. Setup Lost & Find QR code

- Scan the QR code on the back of your device and follow onscreen instructions to setup your Lost & Found QR code.
Find the Roam

- Select the Roam you want to find and tap play sound, your Roam will emit a buzzing sound.
- You can view and navigate the location of Roam through the system's built-in map app.

- Under Lost Mode, tap Enable.
- Read the instructions, tap Continue and enter a phone number or email address.
- Confirm the information, customize the lost message, and tap activate.
- Then, activate your Lost and Found QR code at app.roamsmarttracker.com/signin
Remove your Roam

- Open the Find My app, tap the Items, then tap your item.
- Tap Remove Item and then tap Remove to complete the operation.

Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention. This product is not a toy or edible. Mobile device casings can interfere with signal strength and decrease Roam smart finder’s visibility. Large metal parts near your mobile devices and your Roam smart finder can interfere with the Bluetooth signal. Caution! Lithium battery inside. Risk of explosion in case of incorrect use. Please do not expose the product to a direct heat source. Please do not expose the product to any mechanical stress or impact. Do not attempt to disassemble your Roam smart finder. You run the risk of electric shock and voiding your warranty.
Privacy
The Apple Find My network uses advanced encryption to ensure that no one else, not even Apple or Roam can view the location of your Roam product.
Google’s Find Hub network uses end-to-end encryption that prevents third parties from accessing data while it is transferred from one end to another. This means that neither Roam nor Google can access your location reported by the Find Hub network.

Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate this equipment. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
- This device may not cause harmful interference, and

When this product reaches its end of life, take it to a collection point designated by local authorities. The separate collection and recycling of your product and/or its battery at the time of disposal will help conserve natural resources and ensure that it is recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment.
