Pairing failed or Pop-Up Not Appearing in Android Find Hub
Sometimes the pairing pop-up may not appear in the Google Find My Device (Find Hub) app. This can happen if you dismissed the pop-up by mistake or if pairing failed the first time.
Step 1. Check Settings
-
Make sure Bluetooth and Location are turned ON.
-
Close the Find Hub app if it’s open.
Step 2. Reset the Roam Tracker
-
Press the button 4 times.
-
After the short beep, press and hold for 8 seconds.
-
🔊 You will hear 1 short beep after the 2nd press, followed by 6 beeps after the long press.
Step 3. Restart Your Phone
-
Switch your phone off and on.
-
Wait 2 minutes for it to fully boot.
-
Make sure Bluetooth and Location are still enabled.
Step 4. Log In to Find Hub
-
Open the Google Find My Device (Find Hub) app.
-
Keep the app open during the entire setup process.
Step 5. Reinsert the Battery
-
Open the tracker’s battery cover.
-
Remove and reinsert the battery.
-
🔊 You will hear 1 short beep when the battery is inserted.
-
With the Find Hub app still open, you should now see a pairing pop-up.
-
If not, wait up to 1 minute.
-
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: If setup fails, retry the steps using your phone’s 4G/5G — some Wi-Fi networks may have privacy settings that block pairing
👉 This way, the steps flow logically: Check → Reset → Restart → Log in → Battery
